How to apply for Vehicle Registeration (new or transfer)?

Motor Registration Authority or Excise Department is responsible to register any type of vehicle. Registration process can vary depending on your area of living.

Documents required for Registration (local purchase)

  • 1- Application for registration of vehicle – Form-F.
  • 2- Copy of National Identity Card of Owner (In case of individual).
  • 3- Original Sales Certificate of Vehicle.
  • 4- Original Sales Invoice of Vehicle.
  • 5- Proof of payment of registration fee and other leviable taxes, if any

Documents Required for Imported Vehicle

  • 1- Application for Registration of Vehicle in Form-F.
  • 2- Copy of National Identity Card or Owner (in case of individual) .
  • 3- Copy of Import Permission issued by Customs Authorities.
  • 4- Triplicate copy of Bill of Entry in original showing payment of all taxes/duties.
  • 5- Copy of Invoice ( In case of direct purchase from manufacturer).
  • 6- Copy of Bill of Lading.
  • 7- Proof of payment of registration fee and other leviable taxes, if any

New Registration

  • 1- Download and fill out application form in block letters with black ink
  • 3- Deposit fee in any branch of National Bank of Pakistan or State Bank of Pakistan
  • 2- Attach all required documents (according to your application)
  • 3- Submit your application in any near Excise Department (Motor Registration Authority)
  • 4- They will let you know the time or any further document required to process your application
