Chapursan Valley (Chaparsan or Chiporsun)

Chiporsun valley is a remote and beautiful valley containing some eight scattered villages in the northern most northern region of Pakistan bordered with China & Afghanistan in the Wakhan coridor. It is the world highest border crossing at Khunjerab Pass (4693 m/15,397 feet). The valley hosts over 500 households with 3000 population, majority of the people in the valley speak the Wakhi Language.

How to get there?

You can drive from Islamabad and to Hunza (Hunza valley: another beautiful valley in northern Pakistan) and later drive to Sost . It is only 80 Kilometers from Sost the border Pakistan check post. Afghanistan border is only 10 km away from Wakhan.

When to visit?

The best time period to visit this place is between June and August.
