A death certificate or termination of the ID card is applied in case of death of a person. It is an official document which states cause, date, and place of a person’s death. NADRA in Pakistan has developed a special system to issue fully computerized NADRA death certificate but it cannot be issued directly from NADRA.
Where to get NADRA death certificate
NADRA death certificate can be issued from following authorities depending upon the address and area:
- Union Council
- TMA Office
- Cantonment Board Office
- Capital Development Authority (CDA) Islamabad

Procedure to Follow
Visit personally any of the above mentioned office (close to your address). Fill out application form that you will get from the same office. Attach copy of the required documents and submit in same office. If all required documents are available then NADRA death certificate can be issued within 7-10 working days.
