Without the teachings of the Qur’an and Hadith, the survival and establishment of an Islamic society cannot be imagined. Only Islamic teachings can lay the foundation of an Islamic society. The Qur’an and Hadith are the source of Islamic teachings and the purpose of religious schools is to produce experts in Islamic teachings, scholars who have a keen eye on the Qur’an and Hadith, and men who have access to Islamic sciences. They further fulfill the duty of connecting the Muslim society with Islam, spreading the basic and essential teachings of Islam among the Muslims and highlighting the eternal authenticity of Islamic civilization.
