University of Baltistan, Skardu was founded in 2017. It is a non-profit international level university located in the medium-sized city of Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan with a charter from the Federal Government of Pakistan. It is officially accredited and/or recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, University of Baltistan, Skardu (UOBS) is a coeducational higher education institution. University offers courses and bachelor and master programs in several areas of study.
