Sukkur Institute of Business Administration is a non-profit public institution was founded in 1994, approved by Higher Education Commission and chartered by the Government of Sindh. Initially. It was affiliated to Institute of Business Administration Karachi. On 16 May 2017, Sindh Assembly approved the promotion of Sukkur IBA to Sukkur IBA University.

- Faculty of Computer Science
- Faculty of Software Engineering
- Faculty of Electrical Engineering
- Faculty of Mathematics
- Faculty of Physical Education
- Faculty of Education
Sukkur IBA University has signed multiple bi-lateral exchange agreements with European and Chinese Universities. The exchange program allows students to study one or two semesters abroad at one of the partner University. The exchange program is open to undergraduate, masters and Ph.D.
