Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan

The establishment of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan is an act of historical significance by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The University has introduced all the modern departments, teaching basic sciences, social and applied sciences with a credible base of quality education and research to equip the minds of young scholars with worthwhile objectives of life. The University will attract students from Swabi, Charsadda, Nowsehra, Mardan, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Dir, Chitral, Northern Punjab, Kohat, Southern parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the extensive Tribal region along the boundaries of the Province. Most of the young students of these areas who have the intellectual capability of receiving higher education can not avail this opportunity due to extreme poverty.

Eligibility Criteria

Requirements for BS Programs:

1. Interested candidates should apply online at awkum.edu.pk.
2. The candidate must attach scanned copies of Matric and HSSC DMCs, Domicile certificate, one recent passport size photograph and payment receipt.
3. Applicants are required to deposit Rs. 300/- for BS Program through Bank Draft in favour of Treasurer, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan or by online transfer to AWKUM COLLECTION ACCOUNT/ADMISSIONS: A/C. No. 007901360001 OR IBAN PK85 KHYB 0079 0000 0136 0001 (BANK OF KHYBER).
   The candidate must attach/upload a scanned copy of the payment receipt or bank draft.
   Applicants desiring to apply for more than one disciplines and/or campuses are required to submit separate online application form along with the separate application fee Rs. 300/- for each discipline / category / campus.

5. If selected and called for interview, a candidate shall bring original and attested photocopies of the following documents to the interview committee;

6. There will be no separate application for self-finance program. Once the open seats are filled then the remaining applicants will be called for admission on self-finance basis provided the department is running the self-finance program.

NOTE:

1. Two seats per discipline are reserved for Afghan Students.
2. 2% seats are reserved for Sports.
3. 5% seats are reserved for students from FATA /Baluchistan.
4. One floating seat is reserved each in Special case (Disable) & Hafiz-e-Quran.
5. Pharm-D reserved seats as per Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.
6. One seat at each department for AWKUM employees’ children.
7. All the rules and regulations of AWKUM will be applied for admission (AWKUM semester rules available online at www.awkum.edu.pk).

Requirements for MS/MPhil Programs:

1. Interested candidates should apply online at awkum.edu.pk.
2. The candidate must attach scanned copies of all DMCs (from Matric to last Academic Program), Domicile certificate, CNIC, one recent passport size photograph and payment receipt or bank draft.
3. Applicants are required to submit Rs. 1000/- for MS/ MPhil and Rs. 1500/- for PhD through a Bank Draft in favor of Treasurer, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan or by online transfer to UBL AWKUM Garden Campus, A/C. No. 027388300322.
4. Applicants desiring to apply for more than one disciplines, and campuses are required to submit separate fee for each discipline/campus in the same manner.
5. Candidates will Register themselves online for GAT-Subject (Ph.D.) and GAT-General (M.Phil./MS) at NTS website nts.org.pk
6. Note: Those candidates who have Valid Score Card for GAT(Subject) or GAT(General) are not required to appear in this test
7. The candidates will be informed through SMS about Test Time and Venue. Candidates shall download Roll No. slips from NTS website and carry the same to the Test Centre along with CNIC.
8. If selected and called for interview, a candidate shall bring original and attested photocopies of the following documents to the interview committee;

2. In Service Candidates shall apply through proper channel and will have to produce proper NOC at the time of admissions.
3. No third division in the entire academic career.
4. All the rules and regulations of AWKUM will be applied for admission (AWKUM semester rules available online at www.awkum.edu.pk).

General Eligibility Criteria for PhD:

1. A research proposal
2. Two reference letters
3. No third division in the entire academic career.
4. Candidates seeking admission in PhD degree programs shall be full time students.
5. In Service Candidates shall apply through proper channel and will have to produce proper NOC at the time of admissions.

Requirements For FA/FSc at UCW

Documents Required:

1. Attested photo copies of the following documents.
