Abasyn University was founded in 2007. A private university is located in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The university has a branch campus in Islamabad. Abasyn university is chartered by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and recognized by the Higher Education Commission (Pakistan) (HEC).
The university offers Graduate and Post-Graduate studies in following disciplines
Engineering, Computing, Business Administration, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Education and Technology
National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC), HEC has accredited BS in Computer Science and BS in Software Engineering programs offered by the University. The University also offers BE in Electrical Engineering and BE in Civil Engineering programs accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). The University has been permitted by the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP) to run Pharm-D program.
