The brick tomb of Baqi Baig Uzbek stands in-between the tomb pavilion of Tughral Baig and the tomb of Essa Khan Tarkhan the younger in Makli graveyard, district Thatta. It stands on a raised platform facing of which is set in stone. On the eastern side is the entrance to the enclosure, which stands in the shape of a high arch set in a rectangular frame of glazed tiles. There are also two false entrances, one each on the northern and southern sides. Each of these false entrances is flanked by four arched windows on either side. The corners of the enclosure have semi octagonal alcoves set on the inner side.
On the outer side of the wall, above the arched panels run a horizontal line at the cornice level. In the middle of the western wall is a projected rectangular frame. The domed hall which extends towards north and south making it a rectangular presents the mosque. The dome itself is conical in shape set on an octagonal drum raised on tall squinches at the corners. On the outer side, a row of dentils runs at the cornice level while the dome is crowned with a lotus finial. The mihrab of the mosque is semi octagonal provided with arched panels at the face. Over the panels runs a zigzag brick pattern joinery of which presents light blue glaze.
The centre of courtyard is occupied by a raised platform on which there are three grave stones. The central grave has a conical head stone while the other two are built plainly. The tomb enclosure has been given the date going back to 1640 A.D.
