Archaeological Museum, Taxila is situated in Taxila Punjab Pakistan. Its foundation stone was laid in 1918 by Lord Chelmsford , the then Viceroy and Governor-General of British India. The construction was concluded in 1928 while the opening ceremony was performed by Sir Muhammad Habibullah, Member for Education on 5th April, 1928.
The museum was designed in the Greek style and galleries were set up by Sir John marshall, the diretor General of Archaeology in British India. The Museum reflects the cultural history and varied achievements of the people of Taxila during the last four thousand years. The museum is home to a significant and comprehensive collection of Gandharan art dating from the 1st to the 7th centuries CE. Most objects in the collection were excavated from the ruins of ancient Taxila.

Entry Ticket
Entry ticket to the museum is 20Rs. One can visit different archeological sites as well which are located within a radius of 15km from the Museum.
