Concordia (Karakoram)

Concordia (Urdu: کونکورڈیا) is one of the paradisiacal tourist place and the junction of the Baltoro Glacier and the Godwin-Austen Glacier at the heart of the Karakoram mountain range of Pakistan. It is situated in the north of the Pakistan, around the Chinese border. Pakistan is home to five of the fourteen highest mountain peaks in the world. You can get an excellent view of four of these five highest mountains from Concordia. This makes Concordia an unmissable place for sightseeing in Pakistan.

Best time to visit is summer (June to August)

The Concordia is covered all around with giant ice clad mountains of 7000m to 8000m. Concordia Trek is the most popular trekking holiday for foreign trekkers visiting Pakistan. This adventure is commonly known as ‘K2 Base Camp Trek’.
