Banjosa Lake is an artificial lake and a tourist resort about 19 kilometers from the city of Rawalakot and 160 kilometers away from Rawalpindi. It is located in Poonch District of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan, located at an altitude of 1,981 meters. The lake is surrounded by dense pine forest and mountains. It is a famous picnic spot for families as well as for singles. Mostly people visit on occasions like Eid.

The best time to visit this lake is summer. The weather in the area remains around 16 °C in summer and around -5 °C in winter. The lake is frozen in winter people can walk on it and can do skating.

Some Rest houses and Huts of AJK Tourism and Archeology Department, Pakistan Public Works Department (PWD) and Pearl Development Authority are located here. A few hotels, guest houses and tuck shops also exist near the lake. A market is located 1 kilometer (0.62 mi) away in Chotta Gala Bazaar and Banjosa Bazaar. A few hotels and rest houses are also located in this town.
