Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP)

The Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) is a Pakistani political party and an electoral extension of the Pakistan Peoples Party(PPP) was created in 2002. Amin Fahim created this party after General Pervez Musharraf’ (ex president of Pakistan) imposed restrictions on the PPP and its chairperson Benazir Bhutto to participate in Pakistani politics.

However, after consultations with Mohtarma, it was decided that the PPP would form a separate entity for election purposes called the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians. This course would allow Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and the PPP to follow the judicial relief path while simultaneously meeting the requirements of law. Asif Ali Zardari was elected as the President of PPPP in January 2017.
