Awami Muslim League Pakistan AML(P) is a Pakistani political party formed in June 2008 by Shaikh Rasheed Ahmad. This constituency of Rawalpindi is famous for the politician of Pakistan Shaikh Rasheed Ahmad. He won 6 consecutive elections from this area. He lost to Javed Hashmi in 2008. He then again lost in the by-elections to Shakeel Awan after tight contest. In 2013 general elections he defeated Shakeel Awan.
