Until today floods in Pakistan have killed more than 2000 people. Almost 33 million people have affected by the floods. The main reason of the flood was heavy monsoon rain and melting glaciers. The severe flooding in Pakistan has washing away villages and leaving around 3.4 million children in need of assistance and at increased risk of waterborne diseases, drowning and malnutrition.
People are living out in the open with their families, with no drinking water, no food, and no livelihood since mid of June 2022.
