Additionally, lakes offer beautiful scenery and fantastic opportunity for picnics. Pakistan is endowed with a wealth of natural beauty, including several lakes. Pakistan actually contains some of the world’s most exquisite lakes. Many of the lakes may be found in Azad Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Pakistan’s northern regions. 1) Saif ul Malook Lake
In Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan, there is a lake named Saif ul Malook Lake. At a height of almost 12,000 feet above sea level, it is situated. It was made when the Himalayan glaciers melted, and because of its blue color and its reflection on the water’s surface at sunrise and sunset, Pakistanis have regarded it as one of the country’s most beautiful lakes for centuries.
2) Sheosar Lake
A little lake with an elevation of around 4,000 meters is called Sheosar Lake, and it may be found in the Kaghan Valley. Since the Pakistani Army built it in 1971, it has gained popularity as a tourist destination and has been utilized a lot for trekking and fishing. The lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Pakistan because of the water that has filled it up from melting during the spring or summer.
3) Attabad Lake
In Pakistan’s northern regions, in the Gojal valley, is a lake known as Attabad Lake. After a landslide obstructed the Hunza River, which runs through Attabad Lake, it was constructed in 2010. One of Pakistan’s largest freshwater lakes by area, the lake is around 30 miles long and a mile wide. Since Attabad Lake became a tourist destination in 2011, it has drawn visitors from all around Pakistan.
4) Sadpara Lake
Sadpara Lake is a stunning lake that may be found right in the middle of Kaghan Valley. Sadpara Lake was created as a result of glacial erosion, which also left behind a massive cliff that has since developed into an island within the lake. One of the most beautiful spots in Pakistan, the area is surrounded by mountains, streams, and lush green trees.
5) Dudipatsar Lake
In Pakistan’s Swat Valley is a lake called Dudipatsar Lake. It is close to the communities of Bhai Pheru and Mulkh, Dudipatsar and Shishpara, as well as Swat. Over a century ago, a dam on the Swat River was built, resulting in the formation of the lake.
