Surah Al-Lail (Arabic text: الليل) is the 92nd chapter of the Qur’an. The surah titled in English means “The Night” and it consists of 21 verses. The Surah was revealed in Mecca. It contrasts two types of people, the charitable and the miserly, and describes each of their characteristics.
