Surah At-Takwir (Arabic text: التكوير) is the eighty-first chapter of the Qur’an, with 29 verses. It tells about signs of the coming of the day of judgement. The surah titled in English means “The Overthrowing”. Some of these signs include the following: When the sun is covered in darkness, When the stars fall, And when the mountains vanish, When the camels big with young are abandoned.
