Another beautiful lake is located in Deosai National Park, in Gilgit-Baltistan province of northern Pakistan. It is located at an elevation of 4,142 meters. The lake has maximum length of 2.3 km and width is 1.8 km. Average depth of the lake is 40 meters.
How to get there?
The lake is accessible via Skardu, by jeep in few hours. In winter, if roads are closed it can trekked, up to 2 days. It can also be accessible via Astore District. From main Astore town, it takes about 4 hours jeep travel through a semi-metal road to reach Chilm, the last residential area adjacent to the plains.
