At a close distance of the central Jail, Hyderabad, lies the tomb of Ghulam Nabi Kalhora, Mian Ghulam Nabi was the son of Mian Noor Muhammad Chief of the Kalhora dynasty. He was 15th in succession and ruled over Sindh from 1775 to 1776. Mian Ghulam Nabi who occupied the throne after Mian Sarfaraz Khan fled from the capital, is situated about 34m south of the Eye Hospital and some 265m south of the tomb of Mian Ghulam Shah Kalhora.
The tomb resembles in many aspects with that of his father Mian Noor Muhammad Kalhora’s tomb in district Nawabshah. The tomb is a massive brick structure covered with lime Niru (thin paste of lime stone) plaster and decorative glazed tile paneling. It stands over a square platform made of lime stone.
Unlike the raised rectangular platform on which the tomb of Mian Ghulam Shah stands, the terrace surrounding Mian Ghulam Nabi sepulcher is without a railing giving it an unfinished appearance. Like Mian Ghulam Shah Kalhora tomb, this is also a heavy massive building, but differs from the last in that it is octagonal in plan, though its interior is square. A 16-sided drum supports the hemispherical dome. A staircase built into the wall leads to the roof, with an entrance from the south western corner. To the west of the grave of Mian Ghulam Nabi, on the raised platform are two small graves. These are said to be the graves of two infant sons of Mian Ghulam Nabi.
