Isra University is a private university, established in 1997. The university is located in Hyderabad, Sindh, next to the National Highway, 5 km from Hyderabad City Center. The university is owned by Isra Islamic Foundation, a non-profit organization, certified by Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP). The University has grown from 30 students in the Fall Semester 1997 to more than 3500 students, at the present time. The campus covers 10 acres (40,000 m2) of land.
The University currently offers more than 40-degree programs ranging from bachelor’s to Ph.D. levels, in a wide variety of fields of study.
