Faiz Mahal Khairpur

The Faiz Mahal is a historical attraction found within the heart of Khairpur district, Sindh, Pakistan. It had also been known as the princely state of the province. The mahal was built by Mir Sohrab Khan in 1798 as the principal building serving as the sovereign’s court which was later turned into the royal residence of the Talpur monarchs. According to the archeologists, many of these sites are thousands of years old that shows the province enjoys a glorious past.

There’s a main darbar (court hall) with the pictures of the Talpur rulers who have ruled the region throughout history. Moreover, there are stuffed deer heads mounted on the walls, which are the remnants of the hunting hobbies of the royal family
